Alien Incrementum

One starry summer night, on the shores of a quiet beachside town, best friends Adrianne Vinh and Margot Mackay witness an alien ship crash into the ocean. Aboard the craft was an alien, confused and now with no way home. Welcoming him into their life, the young women are tasked with teaching him the ways of humanity - a far cry from his conquest-obsessed homeplanet.
Play as Adrianne and experience the wonders of small town life through extraterrestrial eyes! Will you pursue a healthy friendship with him? Invite him into your found family? Or, perhaps, will romance blossom between you two...?
But beware, all is not sunsets and ice cream on these picturesque shores...What mysteries lie amongst such tranquil life?
Content Warnings for Alien Incrementum include: death, sick animals, blood, anxiety attacks, sexism, disturbing imagery, and strong language.
Alien Incrementum V1 was made in two months for Josei Jam 2023. The V2 was submitted to the 2024 Amare Games Festival.

"Vibrant" is how I would describe this game in a nutshell. The art is really beautiful and distinct--the colors are vivid, the design of the characters are unique, and the faces they make are adorable, especially the alien's! I love him so much, he's such a sweetheart, and it was wonderful to read about how he adjusts to life on Earth. The relationships between the main characters were so sweet. I'm glad Adrianne has at least one true friend.
The world in which the characters live in--both on Earth and alien's homeworld--were depicted very evocative. I especially liked the forest scenes--the backgrounds are masses of long shapes and colors suggestive of a forest, but at the same time, looks to be an almost alien landscape. It really gave that extra edge of unsettling to drive the bad end home.

I loved the animals (especially kitty!), the friendships, the family backstory for our MC, and the super sweet relationship with an alien learning how to become his own person as he experiences a new world.
this game was really fun!! i first downloaded it because of the art (very beautiful...) then i got hooked up in alien's story (he's so cute...). the small cozy city by the ocean vibe really reminded me of my own too, so it was very comforting <33
i particularly enjoyed the platonic route option!! and the cat was adorable in all ways... good job, everyone!! :))
